Whereas indirectly stating as a lot, this does seem to be a farewell tweet from Smith, suggesting that he’s departed the position and can now not be the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog. We have now contacted Sega for remark or affirmation.
Roger Craig Smith first voiced Sonic in 2010’s Sonic Free Riders and Sonic Colors, and has voiced the character in all Sonic video games since, in addition to the Sonic Growth TV collection. It’s at present unknown who will substitute him because the voice of Sonic.
Whereas Roger Craig Smith is arguably the best-known voice of Sonic, he didn’t tackle the position for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie; as a substitute actor Ben Schwartz took on the position of the speedy rodent.
