Microsoft thinks it has a new way to make 2FA security better, and less annoying for you #GeekLeap

Microsoft has modified the way in which its authenticator app works, in an effort to make it safer by stopping multi-factor authentication (MFA) fatigue assaults.

When receiving a push notification from Microsoft Authenticator on their secondary gadget, corresponding to a smartphone, to confirm a login try, customers will now need to enter a two digit code proven on the first gadget. Which means that they can’t settle for a login try until they will really see the login display screen.
